Harvard’s Law School accepted 500 students in 1956. Only 9 women were allowed in. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a foot shorter than everyone else in the room. But ten feet tall in history’s eyes.

In 1956 Harvard Law School’s Dean invited to dinner all 9 of the women his school had allowed in. He asked RBG, “Why are you at Harvard Law School, taking the place of a man?” She later transferred to Columbia. Graduated #1 in her class.
I’d say she justified her place.

(Joe Biden has never had great hair)
After RBG graduated at the top of her class from Columbia Law, she applied to be a Supreme Court clerk. She was the most qualified person to apply that year. But she was rejected because she was a woman. 33 years later she became the second ever woman to serve as a Supreme Court Justice.

She was born in 1933. Think about all she lived through. RBG never stopped fighting for justice and equality because she never forgot what it was like to be the only person in the room that people thought didn’t belong there.
Skip the blessings. May her memory be a revolution.
